One of the fascinating aspects of teaching at a smaller school like CCPS is seeing the social relations of the boys and girls alongside their Teachers. It is clearly a major benefit to our children that so many of the School’s Teachers know the children as an individual and Teachers can assist them specifically with knowledge of their existing skills, knowledge, understanding and character traits. Notwithstanding that, in a ‘village’ there are sometimes tensions that need to be collaboratively resolved, as in any social grouping. Think about your own team at your workplace, and the occasional tensions that arise and must be resolved so that work is productive. As Ned Kelly reportedly said, “Such is life!”
