On Thursday night last week the School hosted its first Alumni evening event at our partners, Pelican Waters Golf Club. It was wonderful to spend some relaxed social time with recent Graduates because they are great company to talk with and they are engaged in a fascinating range of careers and study paths. Our senior Staff and I were very impressed and proud of the people which we have known from very young ages in some instances, and we were very happy to see the impressive and inspirational quality of people who have journeyed through CCPS school education. What better testament to the success of the School’s aims, philosophies and programs, than to be impressed by the qualities and understandings of our young Graduates. As Schoolteachers, I don’t think there can be much greater reward for our care and attention, than to enjoy the company and stories of those we have taught over the years.
