The School achieved two awards at the Independent Schools Secondary Swimming Carnival held at Noosa, including the first time that the Spirit of Sport Award has been made. CCPS was voted by all of the attending schools’ Sports Co-ordinators as demonstrating the strongest School Spirit. It is this powerful sense of belonging that will provide Positive Psychological support for our children as they move through their future lives. Our CCPS swimming team also won the Percentage Cup which is achieved through having the best rates of participation in the races. I am delighted that this first Interschool event has allowed our students the opportunity to work together so effectively in supporting each of our swimming students. Their results and their efforts we celebrate, for the powerful wellbeing that comes from having this ‘spirit’.
