The School held our annual Leadership Assembly this week, and it was great to have so many parents in attendance, and even with a few Alumni in the audience as well. It was a splendid gathering, including our guest students from Wuhu in northern China having their first experience at CCPS. Mr Maguire was Master of Ceremonies and he spoke in detail and expertly about the nature of leadership, for young and old. Junior School House Captains were presented: Henzell with James McMillan and Harley Turner; McLean with Audrey Spencer and Molly Whelan; Ford with Kie Lenkeith; and Munns with Joshua Barlow and Kiyara Pretorius. Junior School Captains’ badges were also proudly presented to Isabelle Statham and Hazley Green. I am particularly attached to this Year group because from my first year at the School I have very fond memories of taking Friday afternoon with these fine young people when they were in Year 3.
