CCPS is in partnership with Australian Homestay Network (AHN) in providing accommodation for International, and Australian rural students. This will give our children the chance to learn from other cultures and make international friendships; and it will also give families an opportunity to supplement their incomes (to cover School fees, for example?) as Homestay students’ families pay insured, weekly rent for food and accommodation with local families. CCPS has hosted students from Wuhu, China in Term 1. We are arranging our next Japanese Homestay school and students, for Term 3; and for other schools’ students in 2016. Thaddeus this week has arrived with us from Rundle College Canada, for a six week visit. A number of our families are currently Hosts. If you are interested in being a Host Family and taking advantage of the financial and cultural benefits from our partnership with AHN, please register at their website which also includes information below: http://www.homestaynetwork.org
