We’ve had a brilliant start to the new School year with many new students coming to learn at CCPS, in all Years Prep to 11. We also have some new Teacher experience in subjects Japanese (Ms Huxley), Art (Ms Edin), Graphics (Mr Hall), Maths/Business (Ms Hiley) and Prep class (Ms Paroz). During Friday’s ‘Class Party’ gatherings, parents met in Dame Elisabeth Murdoch Library for a welcome to new parents and a happy social occasion for returning parents to meet. Our Ten Year celebrations will be marked by a Ball on Saturday 10 May which will be a splendid event. The Sunshine Coast has had a wonderful warm summer holiday with tourism achieving excellent results; and land sales moving quickly in Pelican Waters Estate, as examples of the exciting times ahead for us. I know our students were excited to see our lovely green grassed playing field proudly boasting a full sized rugby and football field with gleaming new white goalposts.
