City Observer Newsletter 28 August 2014

Our very busy Parents and Friends have arranged a Twilight Festival which will be a wonderful occasion, on Saturday 18 October, at Caloundra Masonic Hall. No doubt you will have read about this event in previous publications. The refreshments, Stall Holders’ wares, and great company will create another memorable School moment. Complementing this social occasion, our students will be performing in a Creative Arts Festival on 22 October. The Creative Festival will showcase the students’ creativity with Ms Burton in subject Drama, and with video production skills extraordinaire; Mrs Stuart with the CCPS Prize for Portraiture; Mr Cusick leading all things musical; and Mr Hall with our students’ Graphics design work. Creativity is one of the highest and most valuable forms of human endeavor and thought. We will be celebrating and encouraging this for our young people at this festival. Both of these events will be brilliant!
