Year 8 student Hannah Stuart auditioned for The Conservatorium of Music with singing (‘Voice’ is her chosen instrument), auditioning for a panel of unknown judges at Southbank in Brisbane. Our Head of Music, Mr Cusick, attended but couldn’t accompany, and he was beaming following Hannah’s performance and his subsequent conversation with the panel members. It seems that Hannah thrived on the challenge and immediately impressed the judges who are highly attuned experts. Hannah has now been offered a place to study at The Conservatorium which is an exquisite opportunity. We congratulate Hannah and wish her all the very best for the next stage of her musical journey. Mr Cusick’s positive influence is already having a profound impact on our students’ music performances, confidence, and cultural promotion.
