Queensland Police Service Host BBQ For Students
Caloundra City Private School had the pleasure of hosting officers from the Queensland Police Service (QPS) for a special lunchtime event. The officers put on a sausage sizzle for all students to enjoy!
It was an opportunity for officers from Caloundra police station to connect with our students, introduce themselves, and get to know our school community better. They organised various activities and games designed to teach safety and awareness in a fun and engaging way.
They were on hand to answer questions from students of all ages, Kindy to Year 12, offering insights into their important role in keeping our community safe. They reminded students of the vital job they do and encouraged them to reach out if they ever need assistance.
This visit not only provided valuable lessons on safety but also helped build a stronger, more trusting relationship between our students and the local police. We are grateful for their time and dedication to our community. Thank you, QPS officers, for your service and for making our school feel even safer and more connected!
