The players were clearly motivated by the professional surroundings and it was great to witness the dressing room banter before the game and the spirit in which the game was played. Our students batted first and amassed a creditable total of 125. Matthew Oberhofer scored the only six of the innings with a huge strike over midwicket with Nic and Dan Reynolds and Lachlan Lawler also contributing with vital runs. The team then fielded with enthusiasm and athleticism and restricted Glasshouse to 58 runs off their 20 overs with all of our bowlers performing well. The team was ably captained by Cieran Kent and congratulations must go to all players for their efforts. It was particularly pleasing to see the camaraderie on and off the field between the senior and junior members of the team. Well done to all concerned and our sincere thanks to those who came along to watch the game and support the players.
