CCPS students’ performance in numeracy, and in grammar and punctuation for Years 3, 5 and 7 was mentioned as ‘excelling’. NAPLAN testing is very valuable, for what it was specifically designed to do. It was designed to give Teachers and schools information about the skills performance of every individual child in their care. At CCPS, we highly value this important information on Numeracy, Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation, Reading, and Persuasive Writing. We can see the average skills progression over two years for our school¹s Years; and we can see skills deficiencies for every boy and girl at CCPS, in these vital communication and thinking skills. Our programs are focused on numeracy and on literacy skills learning, and the NAPLAN data for each child is very helpful.
